Tip for blippers with broken arms...mono monday
Thought I would offer this tip to you phptographers should anyone —god forbid! - need a plastic sleeve to keep a plastered arm dry in the shower. The clinic gave us a cheap wee thing but i remembered I had this rain sleeve for my dslr. (here 2 for 6.95!) It was perfect..the drawstring at the top instead of over the lens. We put a rubber band on the other end,. it even has an elbow bend! Of course I've never really used it so today when i went to look it up online i see it says there is a hole to fit over the eyepiece of the camera and then a plastic thing to hold that in place. we said no, theres no hole but voila! you can see it in the photo! but its on the bottom so no leak —and you could always tape that ( we will next shower!) No way was I blipping old lady skin so i put it back on after clothes for a mirror shot and then flipped it horizontally so it looks like the correct left one. Also got a (love)handle for my iPhone making one handed shots easier . (compare)
My good friend R brought an amazing dinner tonight … oh my we don't deserve all this from such kind friends. in the extras. plus a bottle of wine! we have enough for tomorrow too ...that's homemade mac and cheese and tarragon sauce for the salmon.!! overwhelmed.
Felt pretty good today (Tylenol every 4 hours good) so managed to put up the Chicago set on flickr. Too many and not lots of editing but the family will be able see Chicago.
