Monday: Vancouver Block

I don't want to count my chickens and all that but, looking at the weather, it seems like the worst of the rain might be behind us. Certainly today turned out to be a glorious day. Maybe the weather helped but it was also quite a productive day.

Last night I finished Dave Eggers' 'A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius'. I am not sure whether it's technically a novel or a memoir or a mix of the two but it was alright. In short, Dave Eggers was 21 when his parents died and he became guardian to his young brother. His immaturity really came through but I think that was what made this book so clever - the fact that he was so young to have taken this on.
