Bewick Hill

Rain, sleet, snow and hail - we were treated to all of them today. Not to mention wind! Battled against an icy blast on the way to the office, and blown in to Berwick on the way back!

MrM persuaded me to go out for a drive with him late in the afternoon, supposedly to deliver some leaflets about a forthcoming ceilidh, and to take Louie for a walk. Really he was hoping to be shown around A's house - she's doing up an old stone barn. Sure enough we were invited in for tea and the grand tour! It certainly is a lovely building. She also showed us the owl box on the roof - there's a camera inside it relaying pictures of the owl family to a computer monitor. A admitted to hardly sleeping some nights as she's so engrossed in watching the owls! I'd be the same...

Then a brief walk for Louie - he was as keen to be outside in the wind and icy rain as were! Managed a couple of shots of Bewick Hill before retreating in to the car.
