Dry Branches
Messed up and dry branches always reminded me of arguments and chaos. But not like a constructive chaos, a chaos that is consuming you day by day, a chaos that made your life turn upside down, a chaos where you can only understand the harms of it when it is too late. Branches, dry ones, remind me of anger that ate you day by day. They remind me of people who spend all of their time and energy to arguing. People who are not happy, but pretend that they are.
My mother used to say that “You are most mad to your most loved ones”. I never understood this phrase when I was a child. But now, I do… I understand every single letter of it. “You are most mad to your most loved ones.” That’s why lovers argue, or the families argue the most because you can’t get angry to someone who you know very little about. Or if you do, that is probably because they overtook you on the road or threw a trash to the ground. It is probably because of small things that you’ll forget in a minute because someone you never trusted, can’t disappoint you.
But someone you opened your whole heart can.
