Too cool for school!

Well it was back to school this morning for C and a cold front in the weather. He headed back without too much of a fuss and seemed ok once he found his little friends again so that was good.

Back home we had a flying visit from our friends Amelia and Julie to deliver a very lovely princess tea set present that R quickly adopted and started to play with - thanks so much for the lovely pressies and ball/bubbles too!

We headed into town with Mum and enjoyed a bit of sun in the Main Street as we nipped from shop to shop. R swapped one of her pressies that we had already and chose a clever nightlight projector that's also a torch and plays tunes - very clever!

Lunch, nap and a bit of work and then we were ready for outside play and sandpit when C came home. He had enjoyed his first day back although needed to recharge in front of cbeebies for a bit!

We had a lovely sunny spell followed by a crazy pitch black storm that rapidly came over at bedtime. It's almost May and felt like winter.

The new nightlight entertainment was a big hit at bedtime!
