The Cathedral Church of St Machar
Today has been a good day. Saw my little brother this morning for the first time in ages (although he did want me to change his laptop's settings).
And then I managed to carve out some time to sit in the sun and read. Ordinarily I'd sit in Union Terrace Gardens but it's always crowded when the weather's good and it's hard to find a quiet spot. So I was up at King's College where I know a few quiet spots from my student days and has the advantage of Kilau Coffee. Afterward I took a wander up the Chanonry to St. Machar's and took this picture in the early evening light.
My Dad has described similar shots as 'Chocolate Boxy' which, frankly, I find a little vexing as he taught me how to compose pictures like this.
