Rainy day in Iceland....

Took a trip to Geyser...thought we were prepared for the Icelandic weather, but clearly we weren't!!....
It rained in biblical proportions!!...drove for about 3 hours on some roads that can only be described as terrifying...mainly due to hubbys driving skills in a back to front car on the wrong side of the road...
We had planed to see the waterfalls too but the weather was just too bad we decided to head back and spend the rest of the day in Reykjavic...
It's a good excuse to go back to this beautiful land... there is still so much of it I want to see...

Even on such a miserable day the skies and mountains are amazingly breath taking....
