Catching the Sun: Pinocchio points the way

5.15 am  Armed with a flask, a Pinocchio beaker, and the car keys, I set off to discover what lay beyond the boundaries of my walking kingdom in the hope of a glorious, unobstructed view of the sunrise. What was just over the brow of the hill beyond which I  had never ventured? 

Trees, more trees, birds, a hare and a picnic bench. I got totally distracted taking photo's of Pinoccio, here he is pointing towards the sunrise.
