Rescued cat makes front page

Well, Cambus and Frances are on the front page of our local newspaper today, the Stirling Observer.

And there is a further spread inside showing the rescue by the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Fire Brigade.

The emergency crew had to abseil down the 100ft quarry to rescue him ( see extra photo).

Nobody knows how long he had been there except he was missing for five days.

The miracle is that he is totally unharmed. The SSPCA took him to the vet and he had no injuries and did not even appear to have lost condition.
