Cabo - Day 1

Looking back at my photos of this day, I only took a few.  I guess we were trying to settle into holiday mode.  This image is taken from what's called 'the Sky Sports Bar' in our resort and the view is of San José del Cabo.  I didn't know this prior to going but the Cabo area is divided into two parts...Cabo San Lucas, the more touristy side and the older historic town of San José del Cabo where we stayed.  

The Sky Sports Bar is where you went if you weren't ready to head to bed after the evening's entertainment which ended at 10pm.  Most nights that's where we'd end up.  We chatted with people, had drinks and danced. The view was a 360 degree panoramic view and was just stunning.  It was a full moon while there and so a few nights the moonlight bounced off the water creating a spectacular sight.

The extra was my standard snack or lunch every day.  They make the best fresh pico de gallo and guacamole as well as tortilla chips!  All went down well with those cervezas!

The bonus day 2 was meeting a wonderful couple from Cranbrook BC (9 hours from where we live) who are becoming good friends. :)
