Rainbow blip

Today is my second non-walking day in the Festival. It's still bitterly cold, but not quite as bad as yesterday.

I had an appointment with the dentist in Darras Hall to discuss the scan I had done in Sunderland and to make plans for the implant. The scan looks good to go. Now I have to wait for a free appointment for the extraction, which is not until the end of June.......

This afternoon I popped over to Haltwhistle to see the walkers coming in from the long walk. They had a good day. It was Gwen's birthday so we sang to her and she opened her cards.

I saw a photo someone made using Skittles and warm water, so thought I'd have a try. It's not as easy as it looks. The plate I used was too large and the colours began to merge before reaching the middle. It gave a muddy effect. I didn't have time to try again, so I've shown you the colours in progress, while they still looked pretty. The Skittles should have a bit of space between them too.

Early night ready for the next 5 days of walking!
