Destination Lane

The building at the end of this lane next to my work used to just be an old beaten down office. For a while it was where they did benefits assessments and was basically grim. After an age of noisy building works it's emerged transformed into a nice hotel. Hope the assessments are now carried out in a nicer place, though I hear it's up a hill and part of the assessment is to see how folk are when they arrive. Anyway I digress!!
I liked the glimpse of the shiny building at the end of the lane as I passed.
Otherwise today I discovered a new band, Future Islands, well they're not new but they are to me. Spwbt the evening scouring YouTube for them. Then I finally downloaded Spotify. I may now be in this century, maybe. I also developed a total girly crush on the lead singer, such a thing has not happened since my Brosette days! Ah the days of wishing you had bottle tops to tie into your laces and wearing really ugly shoes cos you couldn't get the right Bros style ones in Shetland.
