Gold Panning

We all went panning today at Mission Creek. Thanks to my friend Dayna, we found a great place to pan. It was everyone's first time panning and I think we did pretty good. All of us found gold in our pans. Mind you it was very small flakes of gold but gold none the less. The red crystals are garnets which are apparently abundant in Mission Creek.
