Wantagh Invitational 2012

I had quite a busy day.

This morning, I went to Rockville Centre with my dad to walk in the Arthur R. Eldred parade to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first Eagle Scout. As you could have guessed, his name was Arthur Eldred, and he was from Troop 1 in Rockville Centre. I held the Pequott District banner at the front of our group. The parade was short and the ceremony was shorter because of the impending weather, but it was still nice. I got a chance to see a lot of kids that I know from other things like XC and SciOly there today. After bagels for lunch, I went to the school with Kaitlin to watch the girl's varsity veebz team play in the finals of the Wantagh Invitational. They played Kellenberg in the finals and it was a close match, but in the end Wantagh got 2nd place. Could be worse. After that, Kaitlin and I went to get froyo with Brenna and Belinda before heading back to the school to play tennis with Trent, Jake, Shannon, and David. At 5:30, I went to my friend from elementary school's house for his dad's surprise 50th birthday party. It was Hawaiian themed so I had an excuse to wear my red Hawaiian shirt from Sea Base again. I had a nice time seeing a few people I haven't seen in a long time.

I just put up all of the pictures I took at the invitational today and now it's time for bed.
