Mrs.K gives me a cheerful wave. She is preparing to speak at a meeting of our District Council Planning Committee to make objections to plans put forward by a local caravan park to place 25 new static caravans on a cliff top site in our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. She was allowed three minutes to make her points. A number of others were also objecting.

The Council Planning Officer was recommending approval of the plans and so you can imagine our satisfaction when the Committee voted to refuse the application.

To celebrate I had lunch at a local hostelry including Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard.
