Solitary

We walked around Lochan Spling this morning (Roxy still confined to barracks). I had lugged my camera, water and two apples and thought I wasn't going to see anything to photograph when this solitary little viola appeared amongst the stones on the forest track.

(Finished watching Big Little Lies last night. Loved it. Two, possibly more,  twists in the last episode that I hadn't anticipated. Fingers crossed for another season).
