Just by the Shipyard
10.0C and mostly dull with occasional short smirry showers. Moderate NW/NNW breeze.
After lunch I went for a walk. I went out to the shipyard then carried on out the path on the loch shore for a while. Raba was at the new quay taking on wood. The two Vikings (Gripfisk and Caledonia) were in the harbour too. M108 (HMS Grimsby) was over near the shipyard. As I walked towards the shipyard a RIB came over from M108 to the shipyard and dropped off two men. By the time I got there the men were taking off dry suits and getting ready to get into a parked car. The RIB had gone back to the ship, which then moved off across the loch nearer to the NATO refuelling jetty. Apart from some smir showers, not much else happened.
