Shag on the beach

The bird...Not the action.

Home from work for lunch with Gorgeous and then a walk at Warbeth. We stumbled across a freshly dead Shag. From a distance they look like quite ungainly, dull birds but up close they have the finest layers of green shimmering feathers and beautiful emerald eyes and a fine head crest (see extras). Really quite beautiful.
