Shawford Down

After another long day in the office, I finally escaped took the opportunity to stop off at Shawford Down on the way to the M3 and home. 

I had a good stroll around, and took some shots of grazing cattle and yet more bluebells, but nothing really inspired me and most were out of focus.  However on the way back to the car I took some shots of the war memorial cross on the top of the hill against a bland sky. Post processing in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro has uncovered some stormy detail in the sky, and indeed I only just made it back the the car before the heavens opened!
