Winners Are Grinners

An emotional day on a number of fronts . . . . . .

Our girls played the reigning South Island champions in a semi-final match that took the crowd to the very edge. 4 down, two and a half minutes left to play and somehow - they won it! Such heart, determination and passion - great to watch.

And after that match, the final was always going to be hard to match. It wasn't a particulalry entertaining match but the girsl did once again show great heart to finally come out victors :)

So here they are - South Island Secondary Schools netball champions. The first time in 47 years that our school has won the title.

Now that's gotta be worth smiling about :)
