A Casualty

Awoken by a howling Milo at 04:20…I gave up trying to go back to sleep at 5.

Short walk with the dogs (50 minutes) after breakfast and then I was off to do the ‘big shop’ for the week - except I forgot to get the meat joint for Sunday / Monday so will need to go back at some point :-(

Eyes drooping by mid afternoon - still got to make dinner yet….

Blip shot is of a tree that fell over the other day in the strong winds that we had around here. To be fair it looks as though it was dead anyway and the stump that is left looks pretty crumbly, so it probably didn’t take much pushing. At least it fell into the river and not across the path. The early morning sunlight was just picking out little patches here and there.

Here’s hoping for some sleep tonight…
