Time flies.
Out in the garden this afternoon, and as usual I loose all track of time.
Mr C brought me a cup of tea, mid afternoon, and before I knew it, it was 5 .30 pm.
Ginsters Cornish Pasties have come to the rescue for tea, along with some lovely looking
Belgium strawberries bought this morning at the farm shop. I always think they taste like "the real thing" not like the Spanish bullets we get in winter.
The photo is a lovely little clematis Macropetala which is climbing through the ivy on the fence, and is just under where the blackbirds are nesting.
It has been nice to have the company of robins, wrens, dunocks, sparrows, gold finches, and of course blackbirds, while gardening.
Much warmer today, and a pleasure to be outside.
Hope you all have a great weekend, especially those watching The Tour of Yorkshire.
Forgot to mention we had an enjoyable evening last night. All the cheeses were good, but we didn't think much of the wines.
The best one was an Argentine Malbec, which was paired with a 14 month old cheddar cheese from Cheddar Gorge. One of the few cheeses actually made in the gorge.
