When one door shuts another opens!

This door will be gone in a few months (subject to planning approval!) 

The one room I can decorate (blipped the other day) has become a small can of worms, but I think the worms will turn out to be OK!  All 23 wooden beams are painted with brown paint....lets just say I got the sander out....they are starting to look much better....although will I still be confident after beam 20?  Wish me luck!!

Somewhere in between all that, I have actually managed to do work!  Thank you modern technology...I'm never far from emails!
