Flashback '85

As I left work today I bumped into a lady waiting outside to pick somebody up. I was so impressed with the spotless red car she was sitting in, I had to ask if it was ok to take a photo of it. She was more than happy for me to do so, and gave me a brief history of her pride 'n' joy, which she has owned for over 20 years. My dad twice owned a Merc, but never this model. Though he did (does?) own a yellow Matchbox version which he kept in it's "box".
