Phoebe/Nest Material (+ Moon Sliver)

We returned to the  Fort River refuge today for our first proper bird outing since returning from Paris. Spring and the migration season are still not very far advanced, but birds were very much around (though nothing particularly special).  This Eastern Phoebe is clearly into nesting mode; he posed for perhaps nearly a minute. In the evening a thin crescent moon made its appearance, to provide a delicate extra.
