Thrift
This afternoon me and Dad went for a walk up at Les Landes, it was quite mild, and there was barely any wind, which made for a nice walk. We walked to the end of a bit of cliff that juts out more than the rest, near the Pinnacle, and saw lots of Thrift. A long time ago Dad saw a load of old German guns that had been thrown off the cliff at Les Landes, but he can't remember where it was. Someone at Dad's work said that they thought the guns were between the bit of headland where we were and the Pinnacle, and the slope down to the sea wasn't very steep. So we decided to walk down and have a look. We'd never been down so close to the sea at Les Landes, so it was a very different view. Unfortunately there weren't any of the old guns down there, but it was a nice detour and I got some nice shots, which you can see here.
