Wallace Monument

Was in Stirling this evening for a book launch event for Lesley Riddoch's new book "McSmorgasbord" which explores the political, economic and cultural variety that exists in the Nordic countries and whether some of those options would be a better fit for a post-Brexit Scotland.  The Nordic countries are at the top of the league tables for equality, standard of living, happiness of their people etc and yet they have a fraction of the resources that Scotland has.  Food for thought....
