Airport Patterns

A long day of travel. We drove from San Diego, CA to LAX, with a brief stop at the Canon Service Center in Costa Mesa to pick up my newly cleaned camera and lens (which we had dropped off two days ago). Our flight from LA to Portland, OR was delayed a half hour, but our friends were still there to pick us up when we arrived shortly after 15:00. I got this photo of the parking structure while waiting for them to pull up at the curb. A trip over the mountains, through a snowstorm of all things (talk about strange sites for those of us who live in Mexico), followed and we arrived in Bend, OR shortly before dark.
