Chester FC 0 Boreham Wood 2

I'm really glad the season is over.

Another shocking performance to make it six defeats on the run and eight consecutive home defeats. Chester haven't won at home since before Christmas and we will now have to wait until August for another go. I'll be buying my 2017/28 season ticket next month.

It is a good job this was the last game because one or two more matches and we would certainly have been relegated. As it turned out York City went down which is a shame because it is a good away day. 

At least it is good news for sgwarnog. It must have been a nail biting afternoon for him but Guiseley saved themselves with a 90th minute equaliser.
