On the Tour de Yorkshire Trail!

Success, Livvy ( my new, summer, bike) completed her inaugural ride...last time didn't count given we didn't make it all the way round due to a mechanical fault :-P It was a pleasure to be on the great Yorkshire hills on a dry and warmer, than of late, weather day. The roads were relatively quiet much of the way round which is always a bonus too. :-) 

The latter part of the circular route took in many of the areas the Tour de Yorkshire will pass through tomorrow including Oxenhope, Leeming and Queensbury. The Dog and Gun have decorated the pub (as my extra photo shows) and the whole of Queensbury is a vision of yellow, blue and bikes!  

In other news, Lizzie Armistead/Deignan won the one day Women's Tour de Yorkshire today - yipppeeee!
