Swan Vesta

Civil War re-enactors at Walton Gardens today.
After watching and clapping the Warrington Half-marathon runners on their outward pass, we went back indoors for a bacon-and-egg breakfast, then returned to encourage them all again on the way back in.
Then we walked/cycled to Walton Gardens along the canal, to be entertained, for free, by the attractions of the Country Fayre. The Victoria Sponge is nearly cool and the tea brewing. What a lovely day.
