Charlie

My son brought Alfie and Charlie to see me this morning and then he strimmed the river bank for me.   As the grass was beginning to get out of hand it's good to have it cut, and there is still plenty of cover for the wildlife down there.   Charlie was interested by some Mallards swimming up river I think it's the first time he's seen any.    He's not your typical Labrador as he hates the water so unless he actually falls in I don't need to worry about him being by the river.
We've just got back from a delicious pre-birthday dinner celebration for Alfie who turns 13 tomorrow.    I think we timed it just right because just as we were leaving the restaurant there were a couple of parties just arriving, phew!
