Election Fever

My current MP (standing again in the June election) and prospective local councillor (election on Thursday) were on photo call duty at the street stall on the High Street this morning.

Lots of other current and prospective councillors there too, plus the MSP for the town.

I wasn't needed as they had lots of help, so I'll do my bit in other ways over the coming days.

It was a busy day, but I had to spend some time booking a short trip to Islay for next month. No great hardship.

I've never been before. Google tells me the island hosts 6 distilleries. Bruichladdich and  Bunnahabhain here I come...
