Day Trippers

We set off early this morning to spend the day in Glossop and take birthday gifts to our lovely granddaughter who was 5 years old on Thursday.

We went to the park so she could practise riding the new bicycle which was her present from Mummy and Daddy. It has coloured streamers and a shopping basket. However, she was shy for us to watch her so we played with Z while Daddy patiently ran alongside making sure she didn't fall off. She is doing very well.

I am impressed as I could only manage a 3-wheeler when I was young, and I didn't progress to 2 wheels until well into adulthood (and even then very precariously!)
