Cooling Their Heels

What is silly about this is mostly that it was 90 ℉ here today! In April! And naturally, these two deer were hot and were, quite literally, cooling their heels in the creek.

I leave midday tomorrow to head to West Virginia for the annual New River Birding & Nature Festival. I'll be posting birds, I'm sure, but I'm exceedingly unlikely to be commenting on any of your journals, and very likely not even flitting around sprinkling stars and hearts. I'll try to catch up when I get home.
