Gourmet Globe

I've never had a Squash plant growing up so high before, but I guess I just never gave one the support to do so! It is a vine after all! Here is my first Gourmet Globe Squash, soon to be harvested. It is about 6 feet off the ground, growing happily alongside the Trumpet vine. Apparently they are supposed to be harvested when they are young and tender, but this one was hiding and I didn't see it till now. So I will try stuffing it and baking it in the oven instead.
