Rem's favourite

I think. I planted these years ago and they are enthusiasticallyl persistent at coming back every spring. They clearly haven't read the manual. They have beautiful markings but are just a certain shade of pureed raspberry which doesn't sit easily with many other colours.

Bother. The lurgy which Z and Son 1 have been beset with has transferred its attentions to me I'm sure. I never get sore throats but today I keep wondering where I might find some Strepsils. Fingers crossed it's all my imagination.

So, to distract myself I tackle the huge pile of garden shredding, then decide where finally to plant the Rhododendron macabeanum which has been languishing in a pot for the last couple of years.
