Drudgery

A surprise visit of winter made ski mountaineering in the low Bavarian Prealps possible again. My climbing skins were rather uncooperative, though, as they continually collected snow. I was basically climbing with several kilo heels of snow most of the way - quite the drudgery. The fresh powder downhill, however, was more than enough of compensation.
