Getting older

My beautiful tulips will not last much longer. These over the top ones were, only a few weeks ago, tightly folded white with just a hint of the pinkness to come.

I'm off on an adventure tomorrow - to my favourite island, Madeira, for the Flower Festival. I'm not as mobile - for now - but I hope it will be a grand interlude as I've rather a lot on in May.
