Caturday Afternoon Nap: Extreme Toepad Edition!

Caturdays are always best when we get to spend some time with That Tabbycat. Dexter was in fine form on this day. He helped with the laundry, ensuring that each freshly clean item received the proper amount of re-furring, carefully shedding dark fuzz on light items and white fuzz on dark items. It's hard work, being the Cat of the House.

But later on, it was time for the all-important Caturday afternoon nap. He stretched out in a chair on a blankie in the sunshine and settled in for a snooze, heaving a huge happy sigh and extending one ultra-pink set of toepads before conking out.

I can't honestly tell you that he is always a well-behaved Tabbycat, though his intentions are good. But he is definitely an angel when he sleeps. :-) The soundtrack is Stevie Nicks, Sleeping Angel, from the 1982 soundtrack to the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
