Heritage Open Days

Having a busy life (lol) I left it too late to sign up so this was the only tour I managed

First did I enjoy it...well there were 168 pictures on the memory card and I was spoilt for choice

On the second shot (a big Red Wood) - the man with the stick is Alex who lives in the gatehouse in the first shot

he is the main groundsman and despite his Parkinson's problems he still plants and cultures acres of woodland and phenomenal flower beds

There's a beehive on the roof of the school and he gets 20 jars a year of top notch honey

and I'm going again next year!!!
