Done...

An unexpected morning off work- so spent it blitzing the house, cleaning and tidying for the SBG's arrival that afternoon.

In the afternoon I headed to Canonmills to collect our coffee beans order I'd missed the day before, and then a quick supermarket dash before collecting the charges. One of them had just returned from a school camp - and he looked like he'd been awake the whole two days!

Back to the house for hot chocolate and curling up with a book for a couple of hours seemed to sort him out, and by the time I left, he was bouncing around on the trampoline.

Home to more weary kids. Got back in time to read the SBG a story before their bed, and then ate their leftovers for dinner, washed down with some Dead Pony.

In other news, the eye is much improved.
