Anguis fragilis surprise-us

There was quite a crowd in the garden, having lunch together, following the Dedication of a lovely little boy called Isaiah.

And then, bizarrely, this slow worm literally dropped out of the sky. We guess it was in the mouth of a bird. A lady scooped it up for us all to see, to decide whether we loved it or hated it.
