Surfers

Can one believe this? Surfing in Iceland? I asked the guys how cold the water was there today and they said 6°C. They did have dry suits on, but still... Stranger still, the Icelandic TV broadcasted a programme about an Icelandic guy who is a professional surfer, tonight! 
We found this "beach" after a badminton club tournament in Þorlákshöfn. It is a yearly event between the clubs in these two towns. It was fun, but not easy, after not playing at all for so long.
