Tazzy basket

I bought this basket in Tasmania in 1995  (was it really 22 years ago?)
It is made from a single piece of wood (apart from the handle) in the approximate shape of the island of Tasmania - or an apple, same thing. A single spiral cut enables it to lift into a basket with the handle forming a support to stop it dropping down again. It usually sits on the top of my china cabinet filled with all sorts of little things which 'might come in handy' (but never do). I decided to use it for what it was designed for - for a while anyway!
