Henry Moore Studios and Gardens..

ANOTHER collage! That makes 3 in a row!

A very special day with Joff at this amazing venue which he chose especially for me because he reckoned there would be loads of photo opportunities...Sadly Matthew couldn't join us as our granddaughter fell last evening and broke her elbow and was at A&E at 11.45pm. awaiting x-ray results and a plaster.  She had to be admitted and has had surgery today. Very sad but M said she likes hospitals so wasn't too bothered..(it's her 3rd break...)This evening the news is good but she will be in until Wednesday.
 
SO much to see and learn here today, which I LOVE and I am eager to find out more about Henry Moore and his work. "The sculpture gardens cover more than 60 acres from the cottage garden at Hoglands House where Henry and his wife lived, to the surrounding orchard, lawns and the sheep fields beyond."  There are over 20 of his sculptures on display. We didn't get a ticket in time to look inside his house so will have to return...no hardship. Delicious lunch in The Hoops Inn, booked by Joff. 
 
A day of new things and special company. So pleased Sophia is doing well...
