Dozing

It's always unsettling when one walks down Broad Wynd towards the Shore and sees the Water of Leith flowing in the wrong direction! Of course, it just means that the tide is coming in, but I still haven't got used to it. Mrs Bernard St swan was asleep on her nest (with no sign of her green garland), so Mr Swan was just having a wee doze out on the water- the tide meant that he didn't drift away northwards under the bridge, but just drifted slightly upstream.

Although once I looked at the photo properly I could see his beady little eye checking me out....
