Actual Day One

Miami
We arrived yesterday and met at the airport. K found me waiting patiently at International Arrivals having arrived pretty much at the same time on her domestic flight.
The hotel we booked for the evening had a flight path right over our room but it also had a lovely pool, sunshine, and heat , decent beer, and a fine evening meal. No more needed before we head out for our road trip tp Key West tomorrow.
We picked up the rental car and indulged my need of a diner experience at The Big Pink Diner before an Ocean Drive walk to see the Art Deco buildings and the sea front. 
What a way to spend my last day of 49 :)
