... en Arles.

Well today didn't quite work out the way I had imagined. I took the train to Arles expecting to wonder at the Roman arena and to wander the town's picturesque streets. I did both of those but also witnessed the spectacle that is the annual Fete des Gardians. This involves elaborately dressed people and a lot of over-excited horses!

There were so many images I could have blipped but this was my favourite. What a day!!
