F8 And Be There ...

From the 1st of May SkiMe is being so kind hosting the challenge and theme for mono Monday during this month. The theme of today's challenge SkiMe based on the famous quote of Arthur Fellig, a photographer and photojournalist (1899-1968). When he was asked about his photographic technique, the answer given was "F8 and be there". He used the camera in aperture priority mode and the idea of the hyperfocal distance to have a sharp image across the entire frame.


I was there ad used my Nikon D5 camera with a 50mmf/1.2 Nikkor M(anual) F(ocus) lens mounted. Camera on M, f/8.0, 1/80", ISO100.

After the click, this was it. Of course I processed my RAW file to jpeg. In the end it's similar to  Fellig as he processed his film and printed the photo ... ;-)
